Care givers from SkillsTrain and sponsors

SkillsTrain and its sponsors handed out 150 care packages to emergency medical staff across Johannesburg, a small thank you to frontline teams.

SkillsTrain, together with a group of generous sponsors, distributed 150 care packages to hospitals and clinics across Johannesburg to thank emergency medical services (EMS) staff for the work they do every day. EMS means the ambulance and paramedic side of emergency care, the people who reach you first when things go wrong.

Why did SkillsTrain do this?

Because the teams we equip with training carry a heavy load. As we said at the time, this was the little we could do to show our appreciation to every frontline member for the hard work they put in daily to keep us safe. The packages went to the people on shift, in the wards and on the road.

Who made it possible?

The initiative was made possible by our sponsors, whom we thank for stepping up alongside us. Supporting the people who keep others safe sits at the heart of why SkillsTrain exists. We supply the training resources that fire, EMS and safety teams rely on, and every so often we get to say thank you in a more direct way.

SkillsTrain supplies the VR systems, online courses and books that fire, EMS and safety programmes run on. We do not run the training, we keep you equipped to run it. Book a demo and we will show you exactly how it fits your programme.
