The Awareness tier covers recognising that a hazardous material may be present and identifying it from a safe distance, the same ground ATS's 2-title Awareness video series teaches through HAZMAT Recognition and HAZMAT Identification. The Operations tier moves into the hands-on containment work a responder is trained to perform once a material has been identified, correlating broadly to the defensive containment techniques in ATS's Containment series, such as controlling leaking drums and cylinders and managing a spreading spill.
