ATS EMT - 27 Title Series on USB

This is Action Training Systems' complete Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) series, 27 titles supplied on USB, and SkillsTrain, the authorised ATS distributor in South Africa, supplies it locally. EMT is the next qualification step up from ATS's 25-title Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) series, and ATS states the series is based on NREMT (the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians) and NAEMSE (National Association of EMS Educators) standards, the same internationally recognised competency frameworks used across its EMS range.

The 27 titles run across the full EMT scope: scene safety, workforce safety, ambulance operations and air medical transport, primary and secondary assessment covering both medical and trauma presentations, airway management and artificial ventilation, respiratory compromise, bleeding, shock, cardiovascular emergencies, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, behavioural, neurological, diabetic and poisoning emergencies, cold, heat, submersion and diving incidents, obstetric and neonatal care, paediatric and geriatric emergencies, and trauma coverage of the abdomen, chest, head, soft tissue, orthopaedic system and spine. Each title follows ATS's teach, test and track model, testing the learner as they progress and replaying any section answered incorrectly before they move on. Closed captioning is included, and free textbook correlation guides are available, with a separate FITS-compatible question bank for programmes running ATS's quiz generator system.
